Catherine McLean will tell you she’s one of those writers who cannot not write–she’s always working on something. Writing as C. E. McLean, her contemporary romance, science-fiction, and paranormal short stories have sold to both hard-copy and online magazines and anthologies. She loves romances entwined with an adventure or a mystery, especially if they include a dollop of mayhem or havoc and futuristic-fantasy.
She creates her stories in a rambling, century-old farmhouse in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. There she and her husband cater to two opinionated cats, inherited from their daughter when she went to culinary school, and one Rough-Coat Jack Russell Terrier, who thinks he’s a cat.
