What Happens in Denver . . . Involves a Cast of Thousands! by CiCi Cordelia

Okay, two thousand. Mostly women. Some wilder than others, but all very enthusiastic.

The Sheraton Denver probably didn’t know what hit it.

This year CiCi Cordelia showed up, ready to rumble. Or at least stand around and look cute.

Her alter-egos, however, had work to do that involved representing Soul Mate Publishing during Speed-pitch mania, Marketplace craziness, and general conference confusion.

Then there was this party in their room . . .

There might have been beer and wine. Munchies. A lot of giggling. Mostly, a great way to reconnect with Soulies, meet some newbies, and welcome first-time conference-goers into the three-day mayhem that RWA National is all about.

Courtesy of a few lovely members of Cheryl’s Denver family, CiCi even got in a couple days of writing-retreating, both before and after the conference. Plus a pretty nifty view of Denver, thanks to Cheryl’s daughter and her willingness to lend out her new hi-rise downtown apartment for a day. Waking to this wasn’t a hardship at all!

Refreshed, rejuvenated, and mostly not hungover or traumatized by Speed-Pitch-a-Palooza (!), CiCi returned to her respective domiciles, ready to take on Book Three of Brides of Little Creede, THE INNOCENT WIFE, due for release in May, 2019.

Currently plotting and chapter-ing, she’s also gearing up the pre-order promo for Book Two, THE DANCE HALL WIFE, due out October 10, 2018.

If CiCi missed you this year at conference, just think: there’s always another conference, somewhere! Hope to see you at one of those!

She’ll bring the beer and wine.

Anywhere you two are is bound to be a lot of fun! I miss you both. Next year the California Dreaming Conference is April 4-7. I hope you two come. https://caldreaminwriters.com/
