The Ladies of Tea

ladies of the tea

My three closest friends and I try to get together as often as we can to have tea. (I am second from the left wearing the heart pendant.)

Why the gathering? Because it’s a chance to talk about things to friends that not only care but have known me for years. Besides the menu is delicious. The cooking talent here is extraordinary. (Alas, I am excluded from that talent). Individually it’s like a female strengthening ceremony and also reaffirms our friendships.

Part 1. Presentation is everything!

what a tea looks like

Part 2.  The Menu reigns supreme!

Lemon  Scones with
Clotted Cream
Blueberry jam
Cinnamon pear jam

Tea sandwiches:
Cucumber, mayonnaise and herbs de Provance
Olives and cream cheese
Tuna, mayonnaise, and butter

Main Course:
Shepard’s pie made with hamburger, carrots, sweet potato and cauliflower instead of mashed potatoes. Topped with shredded cheddar cheese.

Coconut pie from Right Path Restaurant. Made of coconut, coconut, coconut, and vanilla.
Turkish Delight

Peppermint tea
PG Tips Tea
Heavy Cream

If you want to do this with your close friends, set aside a day. This event uses an enormous amount of time for fun, chatting, and sharing. Consider Tea with the Ladies to be a sacred time.

All the best for a delicious and memorable tea!VampirePrincessOfNewYork1
