‘I grew up in Solihull, just outside Birmingham, United Kingdom, but now live in a tiny and very beautiful place called Cleobury Mortimer in the rural county of Shropshire.
‘I studied History of Art at University of Birmingham and went on to teach adults in prisons, further education and now in work-based learning.
‘My favourite novels are Far From The Madding Crowd for its humour, and Lorna Doone for being a great romance. I also love children’s books; The Happy Prince and The Velveteen Rabbit being my favourites. Both bring me to tears each time I read them.’
