Love’s Harvest, by Gwen Overland

Julia Reynolds made a death bed promise to her husband, Robert, that she would restore the family winery to its former glory. Recently the Nooksack Valley Winery has experienced a decline in retail sales, as well as wholesale shipments, due to her husband’s failing health and subsequent death.

The vineyard itself, however, is doing well due to the hard work of her orchard manager, Diego Gonzales Martinez. It is to him Julia turns to for help in reviving the family business as well as for companionship as they both fight against the stubborn insistence of Robert’s brother, James, who is convinced that the winery in truth belongs to him to do with what he will. It doesn’t take long for Diego and Julia to not only combine forces but their hearts as well as they fall for one other, proving that love is indeed better the second time around.
