Hallie Alexander grew up in a household where only “serious” literature was permitted. Truthfully, she favored running wild over sitting with a book. Much, much later, Hallie picked up her first “non-serious” novel and couldn’t believe what she had been missing. What started as a gradual slide into women’s fiction became a rapturous tumble into historical romance, and she hasn’t looked back.
Hallie enjoys heroines centered as the heroes of their own stories, swoon-worthy partners fighting to deserve their love, lush history, and lots of smooching. And, if an element of humor and hijinks, or a fraying in the fabric of the patriarchy exists? Even better.
These are the stories Hallie writes. Seriously.
Hallie was a finalist in the 2019 Cleveland Rocks Romance Contest (under her legal name). She is a member of Romance Writers of America. Having grown up on the Connecticut shore, she now lives landlocked in the South with her husband, three children, and Bruno the Dog.
