Jamaila Brinkley spent ten years writing dry technical documents for governments before retiring to use all of her pent-up creativity to write far more interesting things and raise her family. She lives in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland, in a house that is perpetually in a state of renovation, with her husband and twin toddlers.
