Jane Josephs moved to San Diego, California, in 1999 when her husband Steve accepted a job in the biotech industry. Ready for a career change, Jane began writing. But four years later, Steve was laid off from his job, and they decided to move to West Virginia, where Jane grew up. God had other plans! A week before they were to leave, Steve was offered a new job. Soon after, Jane found work, too, in their home church, and began writing devotions for the church’s newsletter. But the desire to write contemporary inspirational romances resurfaced.
In 2017, Jane was a finalist in The Stiletto Contest sponsored by Contemporary Romance Writers for her Inspirational Contemporary Romance, The Ruby Knot. She’s been furiously writing ever since!
The mother of two adult children, and “Mimi” to five grandchildren and three grand-dogs, Jane still works full time. When she’s not trying to beat her husband at Scrabble, Jane enjoys reading, traveling, painting with acrylics, hanging out with family and friends, and “soaking” in prayer and Bible study.
Jane is a member of the San Diego chapter of Romance Writers of America and the San Diego Christian Writers Guild.
