Kerri Carpenter grew up in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, PA. She began writing in her grandmother’s kitchen at the age of seven. After graduating from Georgetown University with a degree in English and Theater, and working in the advertising department at The Washington Post and a variety of nonprofit organizations, she began her freelance writing career. She has had articles published in The Washington Post, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, South Brunswick Magazine, Jane magazine and multiple websites. Happy endings called to her so she turned her focus to romantic fiction, particularly small town contemporaries, and joined the Romance Writers of America and the Washington Romance Writers.
Kerri blogs with the Waterworld Mermaids: http://www.waterworldmermaids.com)
She can also be found at her website (www.kerricarpenter.com), on Facebook (www.facebook.com/authorkerri) and on Twitter (@authorKerri). She enjoys reading, cooking, watching movies, taking Zumba classes and rooting for Pittsburgh sports teams.
Kerri lives in Arlington, Virginia with her adorable (and precocious) poodle mix, Harry.
