Karla Brown has been writing since she was in her twenties. Paranormal, romance, and young adult fiction are her passions. She has been contributing to ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul’ for more than seven years. Her first published short story The Trophy appeared in the 2006 anthology Color Him Father.
Her husband Larry Miller has been the police reporter for the Philadelphia Tribune for the last 12 years. He has won two National Association of Black Journalist’s awards. He has appeared as a guest commentator on Nancy Grace and NBC Nightly News. He has been writing fiction since he was in his teens.
Miss Darling is their first published novel and represents a true collaboration of love. They have been married since 2010 and reside in Philadelphia with their cat Miss Cherry.
