Mikea Howard, the author of the Diesel Wars Series, is actually Mindy Howard and Kelly Smith, bi-coastal sisters-in-law. Mindy is a medical massage LMT. She is a married mother of a college student, living in middle america. Kelly is a registered nurse specializing in maternal-fetal medicine. She is a married mother of two school aged children living on the East coast.
Both halves of Mikea Howard are lovers of romance, science fiction, fantasy, and all things geeky. They have spent the last four years as staff for Authors After Dark, a convention celebrating the romance community, encouraging reader-writer relationships, and giving a great excuse to put on a costume.
