In 1977, Patricia sat down and wrote a play about the Loch Ness Monster, from the monster’s point of view. Ever since then, she’s always had a story brewing in her head.
After attending the University of Texas (and having a fabulous time), she earned her LVN then her RN and worked as a critical care/emergency room nurse until 2000. By then, she’d returned to school to earn her journalism degree and has written for local, national, and international publications including Dallas Woman, Hot Mom’s Club, iVillage, American Journal of Nursing, and Romance Writer Magazine.
She lives in Texas with her Mr. Incredible, four children, two dogs, an aquarium full of fish, and one very fat rabbit.
Her first book, Worth the Weight, a romantic comedy, will be released by Soulmate Publishing November 14, 2012.
