From the time Nancy learned to read at age five she has had a book in her hand. After several attempts to write a novel, thinking she could do it as well as some of those she had read, she abandoned the idea, deciding to raise her four children instead of struggling with a typewriter. At last the nest was empty and the computer had come along. Success! Although the children are grown and gone to homes of their own, the two cats and three dogs who share her home in the country offer their input and demand their share of attention. Along with writing, she enjoys genealogy, painting, jewelry making, and lunching with her friends.
